After months of socializing with everyone, I have learnt how people work from all walks of life, how they look at things at a different perspective, how they are able to think so widely unlike some of us with a very funnel vision of life. Sadly no matter how many good points they possess, their one bad point screws it all up. Indecisiveness and being self-centred just destroys your image completely. That is what I have noticed from 2 percent of the people I got to know over the last couple of months. In my opinion, I thought that as you grow older people become wiser and over time they have a higher level of maturity in which they are able to make decisions or perhaps choices, yet I am seeing disappointments. Why? 1. Could it be you are proving to all that you are not ready to make choices in life or 2. You just cannot make up your mind on your needs and wants in life?
Considering both the options they do not really make much sense to me because at tertiary level if you are not able to make minor decisions or much less choices something is certainly wrong somewhere. Another point to take note of is the age, we might be of different ages but yet again throughout our upbringing and education we have been instilled with the background of knowing how to make choices, be it right or wrong. At the end of the day it boils down to the individual what kind of choices would he/she make in life. A few weeks back all were ask to make a choice, it was not really something important but to make this choice a successful one the support of all was necessary, however the results were a total FLOP. NOT ALL BUT MINORITY could not make up their minds and every single individual was having a different want. It was certainly impossible to accommodate all the wants but neither was anyone willing to compromise why? Is it honestly that taxing on the mind to voice out your choices or was it impossible to compromise. Whatever the reason was perhaps self-centredness screwed it all up. The choice and decision could have been made at that very instant but there was no unity. NOT ALL BUT A MINORITY were only focusing on themselves without realizing it was time to act as a group in unity, to solve differences and come to a decision.
Does this prove that humans only make decisions that benefit themselves thus forgetting the rest? Is that all society has taught men?
